There are guidelines which have been established by the Alabama Department of Public Health for worship services. We will attempt to comply with them and ask your help as we adjust to the changes. The guidelines as well as practical steps Eastwood is taking are listed below.
– We encourage those 65 and older and others especially at risk to watch the services remotely. We will continue to livestream services over our Youtube Channel. Please note, this is not a mandate.
– The deacons will be serving as ushers, so please follow their directions regarding seating. We cannot group up. 6’ spacing must be maintained between families and individuals. We have a specific seating arrangement in place, so again please follow the instructions of the deacons.
– If you or your children are feeling ill or are sick, please do not attend the worship services.
– Bulletins will be available on tables as you enter the narthex.
– If you wish to wear a mask during services, please do so.
– Parents, please keep your children with you at all times. They should not be circulating in the sanctuary.
– Offerings will be collected in baskets at the end of the service, again on tables in the narthex.
– Fellowship after services should be outside the sanctuary. Please do not congregate inside the sanctuary after services end.
Please understand, these guidelines are necessary to make our return to in-person worship services as comfortable and safe as possible while complying with CDC and state health department protocols. Thank you for your cooperation.
