The Bible repeatedly invites God’s people to give Him worship. One example in the book of Psalms states, “Praise the LORD! I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, in the congregation.” The Psalmist worshipped the Lord with his entire being and with the people of God assembled. Worship is derived from the word “worthiness;” the practice of acknowledging God’s splendid worthiness. The Lord calls his people with sincere hearts united to gather and recognize his goodness and glory.
At Eastwood, we have two worship services on Sunday, the Lord’s Day. Both services are filled with prayers, praise, hymn singing, the reading and preaching of God’s Word. We invite you to join us as we worship our Great God.
We celebrate the Lord’s Day every Sunday.
